This is the place of worship of Mac Dinh Chi, laureate of two nations, together with other distinguished figures of the Mac family; it was ranked a National Historical Relic in 1992. Long Dong Temple was also the setting for heroic events in the local resistance against the French, in particular the activities of the heroic martyr Mac Thi Buoi. Each year the villagers hold their ceremonial festival on the 10th day of the second lunar month.
