City Museum

The Hai Phong Museum building was constructed in 1919 in typical Gothic architecture within the 4,600m2 grounds of the French-Chinese Bank. In 1959 the building was put into use as the Hai Phong Museum and became one of the earliest general research museums in Viet Nam. Today the Museum preserves, conserves and displays more than 20,000 artefacts and over 14,000 valuable images and documents. Opening hours: 08:00-11:00 and 14:00-17:00 (Tuesday to Sunday).
