Vịnh Lan Hạ
Lan Ha Bay

Lan Ha Bay lies to the east of Cat Ba Archipelago and covers more than 7,000ha. One of the most beautiful bays in the world, it forms part of the Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago World Natural Heritage Site recognised by UNESCO in 2023. Its charm comes from open horizons and the majestic, pristine character of nature, with hundreds of oddly shaped limestone islets such as Hon Guoc, Hon But and Hon Con Rua, and more than 100 golden sandy beaches lapped by endless waves. Unlike many other bays in Viet Nam, every island in Lan Ha Bay - even the smallest - is covered in greenery. Autumn is when the bay is at its most beautiful, as the islands take on the countless colours of the turning leaves. From Ben Beo wharf, visitors can take a boat or speedboat to explore Lan Ha Bay.
